Welcome to the official website of the Cyprus Society of Gastroenterology (CSG).

The CSG was established in 1991 and now comprises 49 permanent, associate and honorary members that come from the branches of Gastroenterology and Hepatology as well as doctors from other specialties like surgeons, radiologists and histopathologists that have a particular interest in our area of expertise.

The principal objectives of the CSG are to promote Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Cyprus and to support its members in order to offer high quality services and to achieve the best outcomes for patients with gastroenterological and hepatological diseases. The continuous scientific training of our members is the cornerstone to realizing our vision, which occurs though their participation in local and international conferences and through the organization of training programmes. At the same time, by collaborating with Patient Associations, the CSG significantly contributes towards educating the patients themselves.
